Situated in a green plot surrounded by trees, near Thessaloniki’s forest and minutes away from the
center of the city, ‘Kedrinos Lofos’, literally meaning ‘cedar hill’, is a model residential unit, consisting
of a 5000 m2 seven-storey building of luxury residences that enjoy panoramic view of Thessaloniki
and the Thermaikos gulf. ‘Kedrinos Lofos’ rises impressive, its large glass surfaces softening the big
volumes of the balconies and the vertical elements of concrete. Along with the distinctive character
of red brick, this building is grand in everything and is one of the area’s most recognizable.
Each of the fifteen residences occupies a total of 300 m2 and comes with an equally sized balcony,
the penthouse covering 600 m2 and owning a stunning roofgarden with individual pool and green
areas, the building serviced by two underground parking lots of 2000 m2. All residences are wood
carpeted, come with luxury kitchen and bathroom furniture, reinforced insulation and state-of-the-art
electro-mechanical installations.
The building’s ground floor accommodates a 1500 m2 store on the one side and the main entrance
on the other, which due to the plot’s hilliness lies on the second floor. Given the highly uneven ground,
the excavation process was rather demanding, the foundations reaching a depth of 15 meters with
reinforced bracings securing the surrounding streets. The project was completed within 12 months.
