Expanding in over 150.000 m2 of built space that includes a total of 33 blocks of flats, literally forming a small village, ‘Amfipolis’ is one of the most challenging and ambitious projects we participated. Completed in an exceptionally short period of time, the ‘Amfipolis’ multi-storey units evolve in adjoining plots of 50.000 m2 total area, situated in Agios Ioannis, a developing suburb of Thessaloniki that neighbours the Thermaikos Bay and is only minutes away from the city’s major high streets. The ‘Amfipolis’ units share the simple aesthetics of large cement volumes, coloured in white and ochre hues decorated by vertical surfaces of red brick and marble that along with the discrete elements of steel and glass create a mild architectural character that signifies the complex, yet melding it in the urban environment. All residences are of an overall luxurious construction that involves marble floors, aluminum frames, selected bathroom tiles and furniture, brand kitchen furniture and advanced electromechanical systems. Furthermore, all units are serviced by either outdoor or underground parking lots. ‘Amfipolis’ with its aesthetic consistency, excellent infrastructure and quality materials is a model residential complex, which has risen to a landmark for the construction scene in Northern Greece, company’s performance in terms of time, budget and workmanship being acclaimed as best practice in the construction business.
